Member Event – Make May Modern
Location: The Maritime Conference Center near the BWI airport, one large conference room for quilting & workshops.
Dates: Friday, 5/17 6-11 pm and Saturday, 5/18 8am-10pm. 19 hours of sewing!
Cost: Base price is $92/person which includes: a sewing table, morning and afternoon snacks, hot & cold drinks.
On site meals for Saturday lunch and dinner can be ordered separately by April 27, $20 for lunch and $30 for dinner (exception: dinner is included in hotel rate if staying overnight Saturday). The onsite cafeteria offers meals that can accommodate any food allergies. Personal food for meals cannot be brought into the conference room area. Several local restaurants are also available nearby.
Activities (No cost): Two 90 minute workshops taught by members, and a 30 minute Featured Quilter lecture, topics will be announced April 1st.
Accommodations: Attendees have the option of staying overnight at the Maritime Center Friday, and/or Saturday night.
Single Occupancy rate of $165.00 and Double Occupancy rate of $214.00. Guests may call Hotel Reservations at (866) 900-3517 and and ask for the Baltimore Modern Quilt Guild Retreat. April 30, is the last day to reserve a room.
Individual hotel reservation cancellations must be received 72 hours prior to check in. Any cancellations/no-shows received after that time will be charged one night’s room and tax.
